If you like to stop and smell the roses then Stella is your girl! This sweet, curious girl likes to take in all the world has to offer at her own relaxed pace. She loves to go on long walks (and is well behaved on her leash) but prefers the freedom she can experience in a fenced in yard. 

She loves to cuddle on the couch.. especially if she gets to be the little spoon! She is a fast learner, incredibly easygoing, very sweet, adaptable, obedient, and patient. She allows her foster mom to bathe her, brush her teeth and apply her flea/tick ointment without a fight. She's done really well with possession identification (what belongs to her and what belongs to her foster mom). She loves to chew on bones and toy ropes. She is crate trained, house broken and knows how to ask to go outside to potty. She does well in the car even though she is still learning that car rides are fun. 

She knows the following words: Yes, No, Touch, Leave it, Lay down, Come, Outside, Potty, Down, Up. 

She loves all humans including kids. She’s great with kids of all ages and the “nanny” instinct typical of her breed comes out when around small children. She is selective on which dogs she likes. Stella’s ideal home would have a fenced in back yard, an older kid or two to play with and no other furry friends.
