Petunia is a sweet, quiet, easy-going pup. She is potty-trained, crate-trained and bed-trained. She is a strong chewer so Kongs and heavy-duty toys are recommended as is crating her when leaving the house.
She loves to be outside and would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard. She likes to chase squirrels/chipmunks but has yet to catch one! She is excellent on a leash and is not distracted by other people or dogs on her daily jaunt around the neighborhood. She is happy to progress at a leisurely pace and take in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood.
Petunia is also happy to be a couch potato. She needs her own space on the couch but is happy to move near her person and 'paw' at their hand to get a much deserved belly and body rub!
Previously adopted as a puppy, she initially did well with other animals, but as she grew older that changed. She needs to be an only pet. I know there are people who want a single pet. I know there are people who don’t want to go to a dog park. I know there are people with a nice fenced yard where Petunia could soak up the sun, go out to potty safely, and then come back inside and love her humans.
