If you’re on a low carb diet, keep scrolling, because I am 100% sugar. Really - all the time my foster mom tells me I’m so sweet she wants to just eat me up! She’s always kissing and loving on me, which is great, because I LOVE the attention. I’m still a baby, but when I’m full grown, I’ll probably be a pretty big girl - my mom, also a Proverbs girl, weighs around 60 lbs. Regardless of my size, I think of myself as a lap dog and would rather snuggle or nap on the sofa with my foster mom or dad more than just about anything else. Though I like my foster dog siblings and happily play with them, I am much more interested in what the people are doing. I’m a smart girl and am starting to learn the “sit” command with clicker training.
Like many Proverbs pups, I had a rough start in life, but that’s all behind me now, and I’m excited for the fun times ahead. I am a little timid about new things and experiences, so I will need a family who will be patient with me while I learn about living the good life.
I am working on my crate training, but I’m still unsure about being crated during the day and will call out to you to come let me out. I sleep well in my crate at night, and once I see that my people are close by, I settle myself for a good night’s sleep.
I am really starting to get the hang of house training, but I’m still a baby, so you will need to watch me closely and take me out regularly to help me continue to make progress. Sometimes I sleep straight through the night, but sometimes I do wake up in the middle of the night and need to go potty. But, once you bring me back in from doing my business, I’m a good girl about going back to sleep.
Thanks for taking time to learn a little bit about me. If you think I might be the right girl for your family, go ahead and fill out an application. I’d love to be your new sugar fix!
