She's a sweet girl, loves cuddles, tussles, and walks, and listens fairly well except when she's excited. We've been working with her on some behavior issues (listening, barking randomly, walking on a leash, charging the food dish, etc), and she has shown some pretty marked improvement in multiple areas, so she's definitely trainable. She has a ways to go, and is at the point that she is listening, but she lets you know she doesn't like being told to do something she doesn't want to do (growls and barks when made to go to her bed).
She's really good with kids, even the littlest, to a point (she'll bring the baby her ball and ask her to throw it), but she is VERY jealous of the baby and will get between the baby and the adults, and has tried to hump the baby more than once. She's also really excitable and doesn't always watch where she's jumping around, and we think she gets jealous of the adult's attention (she cries if she thinks you're not going to talk to her), so she's probably going to be happiest in an environment with kids 10+, and that can commit to at least 1-2 decent walks per day. Unfortunately we have no idea how she is with cats or other dogs.
She's spayed, vaccinated, and chipped, and has ~2 months of flea/tick/heartworm prevention, a month of food, bowls, toys, two beds, and a harness. Her records are available from Lakeside Animal Hospital here in Hermitage, who tell us she's a hound mix of unknown provenance. She's roughly 6 years old, and 40 lbs.
