I love to snooze on my foster mom's lap while she tells me all about the perfect home that is waiting for me. It will be full of love and fun. My forever family will know that I am a puppy, so I am still learning my manners, even though I know how to sleep quiet in my crate, to ask to go outside to do my business, and to chew on only my toys. I also sit for treats!
My forever family will be gentle enough to help me get stronger where my pelvis was broken but will also understand how much I love to run and play. And I do love to play! I like to play tug and fetch and my foster siblings wrestle with me all the time!
My forever family will hold me in their laps and scratch those special spots under my collar and along my back, whispering how much I am loved and life is always going to be good from now on. In return, I will be loyal, gentle, loving, and sweet. I will do my best to learn their ways and to make them happy.
My foster mom says someone special is out there, someone who deserves these morning snuggles for the rest of my life. I can't wait to meet whoever that is!
Fern has an old pelvic injury that requires a joint supplement daily. She will also likely need to take anti inflammatory meds for life.
