Here is a lengthy story and a need. Please read!
This is Joy. She at one time belonged to an elderly lady who couldn’t care for her properly. When taken to a groomer by a family member and all the mats shaved off, her eyes were so bad that they could not be saved. She was taken to a shelter and placed in a foster home by that organization. When the foster was moving and could no longer care for Joy, the shelter told the foster they would put her to sleep if she was returned. That is when we were contacted.
Through Joy’s current Proverbs’ foster, this is what we have learned. Joy needs a retired home body to adopt her. She loves to sleep touching her person. She has some separation anxiety which is totally understandable. I just know in my heart there is a retired, loving person who would love the constant companionship of this little girl. She takes two meds and we would provide a year’s worth to an approved adopter. She may have no vision, but she has love to give and longs to be a cherished pet.
