She is crate trained, leash trained, will play rough with cats if allowed but if told NO CAT, she obeys. She barks a little if outside. She needs training for come, sit, stay as she doesn't know those words. She is happy on the couch. She will chew if things are left out but will obey and leave things alone if told NO. She will needs lots of bones and toys to play with. She loves other dogs and is very playful but not hyper at all. She will make a perfect fenced yard dog with enjoying most of her time inside. She is not a good apartment or condo dog
March 1st, Kimmie Jo came to us from a rural county with no animal control. She was in such horrible shape and only a puppy. Much like a Beauty and the Beast transformation, she has blossomed with months of great medical care and love. She does have hip dysphasia. This will mean increased risk of early arthritis and an ongoing joint supplement is recommended. Her coat is still thin in some spots, but the hair is coming in more every day.
Kimmie Jo is such a loving, friendly dog who seems unscathed by her previous neglect. She is now available for adoption to an exceptional home.
