Twinkle is very much a beagle! If you have owned and loved a beagle, you know they can be adorable, affectionate, mischievous and very food oriented--all at the same time. She definitely loves to snuggle, walk/explore, and eat! Having just been surrendered by her long-time owner, Twinkle is experiencing some separation anxiety and needs lots of love, patience, kindness and attention. Twinkle would be best paired with someone who is home most of the day and has a fenced in yard for her to have time to roam and investigate outdoors. She is definitely used to going outdoors often. After a few initial accidents she is now on a schedule and has not had any issues. Twinkle sleeps soundly all night in her crate and is totally okay in the crate for a bit during the day if you have a meeting or need to run errands. Right now she cannot be left unsupervised indoors for very long before she starts to play "look what I found!" She'll find things you never knew you had! Twinkle is great with our boys aged 14 and 10 and is getting along well with our cat after some initial curiosity. Twinkle is a very sweet dog, but is definitely a little high maintenance right now--so be prepared for an understandable adjustment period as she gets settled into her new forever home.
